A little spot of color to brighten a winter day. This plant is also known as "twinberry" due to the fact that the single berry results from the pollination of two separate flowers.
It was taken on the 25th. These little berries are always a welcome sight in the winter. They peak out through the leaf litter and offer some relief from the grays and browns of winter.
