Hitchin'

First, there was the evidence: treefrog scat clinging to the side of my truck, just below the bed well on the side rail. Then the discovery:

This sneaky little green treefrog has made itself quite at home in my truck - hiding out in places too tight for me to reach into. By my count, this hitch hiking froggy has logged at least 256 miles. I managed to catch him once and put out on the side of the house. He made his way back into my truck. If I catch him again, I'll put him out on the front porch.

HOW funny! I had rats in my engine once, does that count?

Don't know if you ever got my BIG thank you on my blog. BUt thanks for taking the time to ID those weeds. I appreciate it.

I find the coolest frogs in my yard, i need to take pics and save. They eat mosquitos right?

Lynne,
I think I heard him signing that exact song the other day...

Meagan,
You never know, one could be hitching a ride when you least expect it!

Jojo,
Yikes, I take frogs over rats any day! Don't know how many mosquitoes frogs eat, but they are good to have around for insect control.

You have a soul mate in my sister! She's had me out here looking for tree frog scat...she's been trying to identify this scat for days!

Great pictures of everything!

Barb,
I'm always happy to hear that I'm not the only one out there ;) Scat is a very interesting thing to study. You can learn so much about which critters share your space.
