It has been a very pretty fall here. Sort of a surprise considering how hot and dry our summer was. This will probably be my last shot of color for the season. I was actually trying to catch the mallards, not the foliage.
The deer have been absolute road hogs this fall...

I was so mesmerized by the color that the mallards became almost invisible. Beautiful shot! And the deer is too funny. Not worried at all...

She was quite unconcerned. I had to stop my truck while she moseyed across the road. Her buddy behind her moved a little more quickly.

I love the color of bald cypress in the fall. Such a rich rust!
