Absurd

Snow...In the swamp...In November! Simply absurd.

If and when life calms down, I will return with images from the swamp.
Until then, I'll simply wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

Snow! Holy cow. We were at 13F this morning, but no snow.

Thanks, Dani. And a Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. The new house is snug - not as drafty as the old place!

rurality,
You could have knocked us over with a feather! We got an inch and a half!!! In November! Of course it all melted by late afternoon. My co-worker is from PA, he spent all day laughing at us because we just kept watching the snow and saying "But it never snows in NOVEMBER."

I can imagine you're enjoying the new space/place --especially with holiday time around the corner. Have a wonderful weekend--stay cozy and warm!

Swamp Folks,

Have a great Thanksgiving Day. While I don't like snow, (and I'm from Minnesota), I keep in mind snow puts swamp fires out. (GRIN).

Swampy- At last you and Treebeard have shown signs of life. I was beginning to wonder how long it would take you to nest into the new place. Just spent a day at the Refuge assembling 18 new picnic tables that the Friends group paid for half of them. Tired but happy that I spent the day outdoors. Enjoy the new home. I believe SIL and Mexican Fruittail Bat Dog are coming to visit you but not sure. Keep Gracie away from the new kitties. Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving. The snow was SHOCKING, wasn't it? Everyone I work with is from up north, and one from Colorado, so they found it hilarious that I was so fascinated with the snow. Lol. Hope all is well.

Come back when you can, Swampy. I do.

nina,
We'll enjoy it more once we have everything where it needs to be -- not sure that is going to happen anytime soon ;)

Uncle Bear,
Thanks! And your right, snow can help put out pesky peat fires.

Maineiac,
We're part way in. There is still a ton of stuff over at the old house. It may just have to stay there until after Thanksgiving! SIL, Ratdog, Hippie, and Flamebrain will be coming for the holiday. Flamebrain is hoping to board Grace at the vet's where he works. Too many tempting kitties here! Honda has been renamed - his new moniker is Smidgen.
Hey, after you finish those picnic tables you can come up here and help us with the 2000 feet of boardwalk we are building in the swamp!

pushesrb,
Snow is fascinating stuff - you just have to watch it 'cause you know it won't be around long :)

pablo,
Thanks for hanging in there! I promise I'll be back soon with something other than whining about the move or dealing with the tripli-cats!

Doin' just fine Miss Swampy. :) High speed internet? VERY cool! Lovin' it, I am sure?

Come on over, we're still in the same ole place, but it's gotten VERY quiet. Kinda sad really. But we still post and have a few visitors. I've been Twittering a lot lately with a lot of the people that were blogging, so we haven't lost everybody.
