Maybe it's just how the Kentuckians say it, but I still say everyone says "deluge" incorrectly. I don't care what the dictionaries say. There's only one "l" how can it possibly sound the way we say it? Surely it's really supposed to have two "l's" or we're supposed to be saying it like "dee-luge" or even "dee-loogie".

It must be French. *throws hands up*

You doing ok Swampy? Treebeard? Got your floatation devices near you?

Yeah, I thought those might be on this weeks vocab list.

Those of us who pay attention in class will be wondering how your personal piece of property fared, what the company pond looks like, did the beavers lodge wash away... when things calm down of course

Well now, Woverman, it wouldn't be the first time you fell asleep on the lab table would it? ;)

Bloggy, the preferred pronunciation is 'del-yuj with that u being pronounced like the double o in loot. Educate them Kentucky folk!

FC, Ernesto was a sneaky fellow. Dumped tons of rain and caused a lot of flooding. Everyone was expecting it to take a more westerly tract and hit the central part of the state. Surprise! It came right over the top of us instead.
