FC - Yes, it is a fairly common plant around here. The deer like to browse it so it never gets very big. The flower is green and quite unremarkable. I guess the seed pod makes up for that :)

We have that one here too -- some people call it "Wahoo". I always say wahoo whenever I find one, anyway. :)
