You know, I still like the "old" camera. It does a darn fine job. The reds in this one are kickin', but I'm a little afraid of that spikey thing in the upper right.

That is a beautiful plant. Our holly cousins are still green. Does yaupon range up where you are?

Mr. B, I can't see the spikey thing well enough to tell what it is...

FC,yaupon does occur here but it is not very common.

Have you tried planting any of the seeds to move it? We have winterberry growing near our place and I would to have some here. That being said, I am not sure it is wet enough on our property. Does it always need swamp?

OW, I've never tried planting the seeds. The only place I've seen this ilex grow has been along the stream.
