You're several weeks ahead of us--such a treat to sense the seasons moving toward us from the south.
Dogwoods are my favorite--do you find pink ones?

Ahead of us as well... our Dogwood is just coming into leaf. Very similar to yours. What type is it? any idea? They are stunning when in full "bloom" or should I say "leaf"?... Jane

nina,
The woods are beautiful right now. I wish I had the time to go out and take some more pictures to share, but spring is a very busy interpretive time for us and I don't have much free time. I've never found a wild pink dogwood.

Jane,
The dogwood is flowering dogwood, Cornus florida. I'll get a picture of the actual flowers when they open :)

Cathy,
Hang in there! Spring's coming!!

So pretty! Nice to see pictures from "back home". Wish I could see more of the outside world...unfortunately M-F I'm trapped in this wonderful cement building. LOL.

Great photos as usual.

I also like the moth photos and story. Anything that gets rid of poison ivy is a friend of Martha's.

Knock on wood. Poison ivy has never bothered me.

Thanks for sharing.
