Are you counting the birds this weekend? You aren't!?! Why not? It's easy and doesn't take much time. Go to the Great Backyard Bird Count website for details and then start counting.
This looks like fun and I had my first Carolina Wren show up at my feeders today. Hadn't seen one since fall. I'll bet you've got them singing all the time. What a great little bird.
Cathy, It is fun and can yield some surprising results - I'll blog about that a little later. Carolina wrens are quite abundant here and very vocal. We have had them to nest in some pretty unusual places around the house.
