karen, It is just one tree. It's a big old beech tree on the edge of our property. The tree is still alive, but it has a big scar on one side and a hole that goes all the way through the tree.

Look at all the different textures. Is that just one tree? Looks like it's had a hard life!

I was outside the tree, looking in and through.
I can just see some bird checking out the hole, popping in, and concluding she was in Narnia.

Great shot of the different woods, wood grains, etc. That's a good example of the kind of interesting scenery that most people would fail to notice.
