There You Are!

Green treefrog hiding out behind the door. I don't blame him. It has been thirty kinds of hot around the swamp this summer.

This little fellow was a bit braver than the one behind the door, but he still mananged to find a shady spot. Green treefrogs never cease to amaze me. The color variations are quite remarkable.

I'm always impressed with how much these frogs can make themselves look so much like a part of whatever it is they are clinging to.

Hey Swampy! Good to see you posting. Nice photos! It must be a very froggy time of year. Last night I photographed the teensy weensiest frog I've ever seen. He was clinging to a window screen and was so small he was translucent.

Greetings All! Thanks for stopping by. I have purchased a new computer and things seem to be working a bit better so perhaps I will be able to post with a little more regularity now.

pablo,
they are really quite amazing -- I have seen green treefrogs that were almost purple.

taexalia,
I stopped by your site -- beautiful :) right back at ya!

cathy,
I'm delighted to be posting again. Thanks for not giving up one me!

lauraO,
Frogs are just so cute, you can't help but love 'em. There was a beautiful green treefrog in the garden this morning hanging out on a corn stalk.

I just upgraded to Wild Blue satellite service. I read your may post and see you still have dialup. I gave it up last Sunday and love the new service. It is only $49 per month and I no longer have to pay for dial up service. So I am only paying a small bit more than before.
Thought you might find this helpful. I am deep in the swamp myself.. and finally.. I can review great blogs like this! I read your bio and it sure sounds like my own.. nice to meet a kindred soul..

tanya,
Glad you stopped by - anyone who appreciates a swamp is always welcome here. I'll have to check into satellite service. This dial-up situation is giving me high blood pressure!
