Secret symbols in the sand - wonder what invert drew these?
The top one looks like a dancer leaping, albeit a headless dancer...
The next one is a bungee jumper...again, headless.
Perhaps the last is the artist's signature.
Of course, it's all in the eye of the beholder :)

They are communicating with the Mothership. There'll be strange lights over the swamp tonight ...
Just delightful, whatever they are! Maybe they'll eat those nasty ticks you found yesterday.
I has the dumb- what are those?
Uggh- I just got the thought of all those ticks out of my head and Susan brings them back...
crowe,
Hmm, you may be right. Those could be coordinates...I'll keep my eyes open for UFOs.
Susan,
If only they would eat the ticks!
Lynne,
Don't feel bad, I has the dumb, too. I don't know what made the doodles in the wet sand next to the canal. Oh, and I would be happy to send you some ticks ;)
I like your descriptions of the first two but I see the last one a map of North America... I'm such a nerd.
Woverman,
Could very well be a map -- particularly if Crowe is right and they are trying to contact the Mothership ;)
(No, wait. That's evil cows...)
Maybe they are joining forces with the evil cows...hmmmm...
Yep, a map of North America. I see that.
