The rare and elusive one-eyed swamp woozie...


Oh, okay. So it's not rare or elusive or even a swamp woozie. It's the open seed pod of a plant called anglepod, Gonolobus gonocarpus.

Swampy - I would have called it a rare baby one eyed heron! Happy New Year to you and Treebeard. I'm moving to the Refuge today! Starting out the New Year with the critters.
