It's been weeks since I've had time to paddle the pond so yesterday Treebeard and I declared a paddle day. The pond was beautiful, as usual...

As time allows, I'll post pictures of some of the critters we saw while we were out. Here's one to hold you over until that time...

It's a pond because of the depth of the water - quite shallow throughout with the exception of the run of the stream that was dammed to create it.
