Everyday observations in the woods and wetlands of northeastern North Carolina. May you have special places in your life that bring you the same joy I find in my swamps.

After, For Pablo
Here you go, Pablo, an "after" picture from roughly the same angle as the "before" picture. Obviously, we still have quite a bit of work to do in the landscaping department, but things are coming along nicely.
Swampy-From my vantage, it's looking very nice. I know that you and Treebeard will be landscaping like crazy of the next few months having seen what his father could do with irises, roses and vegetable gardens. Looks like some bud formation on those trees in the background. Maineiac
Hugh, Were you an eastern big-eared bat, we would find room for you.
Pablo, Is there such a thing as a semi-private bath? Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bath thus, if you are the only guest, the bath is private.
Maineiac, We have planted quite a few things already. Our goal is to have native plants for the most part. Things are finally starting to leaf out here. The cherry trees are getting green and will be blooming soon.

What a lovely house. Were I a bat, I would find a way to live in there, and then would brag to the other bats.
Thank you! Thank you!
Does the guest bedroom have a private bath?
