Such a funny bunny. Marsh rabbits, Sylvilagus palustris, are very common in the work swamp. I have read that they are good swimmers, but have no personal knowledge of this fact. I think it would be very amusing to watch a rabbit swim -- do they keep their ears up or lay them back? Exactly how would one do a bunny paddle?
I should be able to keep track of sightings of this particular rabbit. It has a distinctive notch in its right ear. Hmmm, wonder if it caught its ear on a briar....

What a comical face! His ears look a bit short and round.
Yes,what a face! And I love his long brown nose, too. He has a very innocent look about him.
His ears are so different to the wild rabbits I see around here. His ears look as if he could pick up messages from Outer Space. I guess that's handy if nature branded you A Tasty Snack.
That long face reminds me of when I learned my automotive fill up would be in the triple diget range. (SMILE).
Uncle Bear `;-))
lynne,
His ears are shorter and rounder compared to a cottontail. And that white lip always makes me think he's been getting into the milk ;)
nina,
Innocent? Not likely :) I'm sure I will have to keep an eye on him around the butterfly garden...
Crowe,
Those ears do look well-equipped to pick up a signal from the mother ship...

Triple digits! Yikes!!
